Day 1: Delhi → Vientiane (Laos)
Take a flight from Delhi (DEL) to Vientiane (VTE) (via Bangkok/Hanoi)
Arrive in Vientiane, the capital of Laos
Rest and explore the city (Buddha Park, Patuxai Monument)
Day 2: Vientiane → Xaisomboun Province (Phou Bia Base Area)
Day 3: Xaisomboun → Phou Bia Summit Attempt
Travel by private car (7-8 hours) or domestic flight to Xaisomboun Province
(base area for Phou Bia)
Stay overnight in a nearby town/homestay
Phou Bia is a restricted mountain (military control); special permissions required
Start early for a demanding trek (~8-10 hours round trip)
Dense jungle, steep sections, and unpredictable weather
Summit Phou Bia (2,820m) and descend back
Return to Xaisomboun for the night
Day 4: Xaisomboun → Vientiane → Hanoi (Vietnam)
Travel back to Vientiane
Take a flight from Vientiane to Hanoi (Vietnam) (1.5 hours)
Explore Hanoi: Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 5: Hanoi → Sapa (Fansipan Base)
Take a bus/train (5-6 hours) or private car to Sapa
Explore Sapa town: Cat Cat Village, Love Waterfall
Acclimatization and overnight in Sapa
Day 6: Fansipan Climb – Base to Summit
Trekking Route (2 Days)
Start from Tram Ton Pass (~1,900m)
Trek for 6-7 hours through lush jungle and ridges
Camp at 2800m overnight
Trek 1.5 hours to summit
Return to Sapa the same day
Day 7: Fansipan Descent → Return to Hanoi
If trekking, descend in 5-6 hours and return to Sapa
Take bus/train back to Hanoi
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 8: Hanoi → Delhi
Explore Hanoi in the morning
Take a return flight from Hanoi to Delhi
Day 1: Departure from India and Arrival in Kota Kinabalu
Flight: Depart from Chennai with a connecting flight to Kota
Kinabalu via Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
Evening: Arrive in Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to your hotel and rest after the
journey.
Accommodation: Stay overnight in Kota Kinabalu.
Note : If your flight reach late post 8pm or so we will stay for an extra night in Kinabalu.
Day 2: Transfer to Kinabalu Park
Morning: Travel to Kinabalu Park HQ (2 hours by road from Kota Kinabalu).
Register for the climb at Kinabalu Park and get a permit. Attend a
mandatory briefing.
Trek to Panalaban Base Camp (6km, 6-7 hours)
Begin trek early in the morning from Timpohon Gate (1,866m). Trek through
the rainforest and mountain trails, with rest stops along the way. Reach
Panalaban Base Camp (3,272m) by late afternoon. Check into a lodge at
Panalaban and rest for the night.
Day 3: Summit Push & Descent.
Start the summit push around 2:00 AM to reach the Low's Peak (4,095m) at
sunrise. Enjoy the view from the summit, take photos, and celebrate the
achievement. Descend back to Panalaban Base Camp for breakfast. Continue
descending to Timpohon Gate and then return to Kinabalu Park. Collect your
certificate of completion and rest at the Park HQ
Day 4: Return to Kota Kinabalu
resting.
Day 5 : Return to India
After breakfast, travel back to Kota Kinabalu. Spend the day exploring the city or
Transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Fly back to India.
